The good folks who volunteer their time to mow should not have to stop and pick up debris that could damage the mower or otherwise be thrown by the mower.

Membership

Tip for Android users: Don’t just tap on the menu bar. You might find that you need to slightly swipe down a little bit, then let go in order for the drop list to remain persistent. Then select the drop list item.

For 2026, be aware of changes to rule 1.

1. When there is no scheduled event supervised by director, pull the gate closed behind you. It is preferred to lock gate after you enter. Except for scheduled events, range use is on a first come, first serve basis for members. As a courtesy to the neighbors, no shooting before 9am or after 9pm (not a law). Friday night skeet and trap may shoot under the lights up to 9pm. Pistol and Rifle ranges open 9am until dusk or 9pm, whichever comes first. Organized night shoot or low light shoot must be scheduled and approved by the board with notification on web site, Facebook and Mailchimp.

 

2026 membership now available on Practiscore with the ability to pay electronically and avoid mail delay on the front end. Click the bright green large font link(s) below to go to Practiscore.com. As of Jan 17, 2026, 37 people have successfully used Practiscore to sign up for and pay for 2026 membership.

If this is your first time using Practiscore, you will be prompted to create a free Practiscore account. This is a one-time setup that you will not need to repeat in the future, unless you change email address.

IMPORTANT: Zip code needed after the 3 digit CVC/CVV code in the field for credit card number. Without the zip code, processing will “crash” looking as if it is taking a long time to process. This seems to be the number one problem for those that reported difficulty.

I have created an MS Word document for instructions with many screens shots to help explain and show how to sign up with Practiscore. Instruction document has been shared with Mailchimp subscribers.

Be sure to click the checkbox to indicate you have read and agree to the waiver hold harmless agreement and range rules.
After clicking the register button at the bottom, look for error message prompts for mandatory fields that were not completed. If so, go back to complete the mandatory fields, then click the register button again.
Upon successful completion, you will receive a confirmation email from Practicore with a blue bar to click to return to your personalized page to make corrections or updates to info you entered. You will also receive a confirmation of payment “receipt” from Stripe.com.
This process eliminates the need for postal mail on the front end. However, there remains a human dependency to mail out the membership card, same as in previous years. Please allow 2 weeks for card to arrive in the mail.  Gate combination will be on the back of the card.

WANT PAPER FORM?

Must use the correct year form for the year you are paying for. The dollar amount might change from one year to the next. One or more rules might change from one year to the next. If you use an old form, your application and payment may be mailed back to you. Do not use old form from previous year.

 

$45 for 2026.

Add $20 for guest pass.

Limit 1 guest pass per member.

2026 Renewals accepted no earlier than December 1st 2025.

Note from Jeff C, as of November 2, 2025: Apologies for technical difficulties with Godaddy. I get error message “Unable to create directory uploads/2025/11. Alternate option 1: go to Mewe.com and join group called “Good people of the Greene Rod and Gun Club”. Once you are a member of the group, click on “files” (below the cover picture), then find the 2026 membership form in the list of files.  https://mewe.com/group/5fade4efa053634c52c07345/documents

As of January 2026, there are 33 members in the Mewe group. There is no limit to the number of members in Mewe group.

Alternate option 2: Sign up for Mailchimp. Latest year application will be linked in the monthly e-mail. Free version of Mailchimp continues to allow embedded links to PDF files in order to support distribution of the Greene Rod and Gun club membership application.

As of January 2026, there are 138 Mailchimp subscribers. There is a limit of 250 contacts with the free version of Mailchimp.

You must sign and date the application to indicate you read and agree to the latest rules.

GOT PAPER FORM? It is important that you write neatly. If we cannot read your address, we will not be able to send your card to you. If we cannot read your phone number, we will not be able to call you.

Everyone must complete the latest application every year regardless if renewing or first time member. Everyone must sign and date to indicate you have read and agree to the latest rules.

There are 4 ways to get the latest paper application:

Due to technical difficulties with GoDaddy web hosting, we are no longer able to share PDF version of the form on this web page. I do not recommend GoDaddy for web hosting, but unfortunately we renewed for 5 years, ending May 2030, so I will keep this site limping along with text-only updates. No files. No images.

  2. Sign up for Mailchimp. Monthly e-mail notice for monthly meeting will have link to the latest PDF version of membership application.
  3. Blank forms might be available (subject to vandalism and limited supply) on the gate at the club entrance. New red metal box as of 12/20/2025.
  4. Blank forms might be available inside and/or outside the clubhouse. Hopefully less prone to vandalism, but also a limited supply.

 

There are 3 ways to submit hand written paper application:

After completing the paper form, sign and date both sides (or if printed single sided, sign both the application and the waiver hold harmless agreement)  to indicate that you have read and agree to the latest rules and waiver. Do not return copy of the range rules, but rather keep for your records. Choose one of the 3 ways to submit completed application with payment and self-addressed envelope with stamp.

  1. Mail completed application with check or money order to Greene Rod and Gun Club, PO box 315 Greene NY 13778. Please include self-addressed envelope with stamp. Please allow 3 to 4 weeks for processing.
  2. Drop completed hand written paper application with check or money order or cash in orange lock box outside the clubhouse facing trap 2 trap field. Please include self-addressed envelope with stamp. Please allow 3 to 4 weeks for processing.
  3. Drop completed hand written paper application with check or money order or cash in right hand side slot of the lock box inside the clubhouse by the propane furnace. Please include self-addressed envelope with stamp. Please allow 3 to 4 weeks for processing.

III-A Except for shareholder members who are lifetime members, in addition to the one time initiation fee of fifty dollars ($50.00) each Shareholder Member shall be required to pay annual dues herein provided. If shareholder is delinquent beyond March 28th, they lose all status and benefits as a shareholder.

III-C Annual membership runs from January 1 to December 31, of each year. Renewal for upcoming year will not be accepted before December 1st. The gate combination will be changed on January 1st each year.
